Giving Back
Community Involvement is very important to me because we need to love our neighbor as ourselves. My first and foremost love is to reach out and serve the community around me. I am mindful of that when I am putting to work the people in my community who need work and who also need to be motivated and helped out till they are able to become successful. Also, I have found that if you care about the people you work with and the people in your community, truly with a pure heart, that is really what people want and need.-Elaine

Elaine's Maid for Life
My non-profit organization, Elaine's Maid for Life, gives away free maid service to women with cancer and breast cancer. At a time when women are fatigued with chemotherapy and radiation, my housecleaners go into their homes with cheerful attitudes and begin to clean their homes from top to bottom. The girls also occasionally bring in flowers, and offer to help out in any way they can. I also clean homes for men who have lost their wives due to cancer, and for moms whose children are also stricken with the deadly disease. I am in the process of fundraising for my foundation, Elaine's Maid for Life, to underwrite the cost of housecleaning for our community's cancer patients on a weekly basis. I have been donating my paychecks every week for the past year. I feel the cleaning is so needed at this time that I did not want to wait till my foundation had raised enough money from other sources. The most amazing thing about this is that giving is so infectious. My cleaners often give extra time to the cancer patients in addition to the three hour job that I pay them for. It is so exciting because it is all about women helping women.
